Meet Alexandra
Exploring doubt, cultivating trust, and walking with you toward clarity—in therapy and in life.
Alexandra (she/her) is a therapist and writer who walks alongside clients as both a grounded companion and a hope-archaeologist, helping them navigate uncertainty with care. An Enneagram 6 and ISFJ, she is intimately familiar with doubt and loyalty—qualities that make her both pragmatic in a crisis and deeply committed to cultivating trust.
Her personal journey from a conservative religious upbringing to a spirituality of liberation and curiosity informs her work. She believes in exploring the human experience with honesty and nuance, both in therapy and in her writing.
Outside of sessions, she’s usually reading multiple books at once, spoiling her dog, or sharing an unasked-for fun fact. She finds joy in the quiet moments—a cancelled plan, a good snack—and remains insufferably proud of her canine companion.

A Deeper Look at What Alexandra has to Offer
is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain and nervous system process and resolve traumatic or distressing memories. Instead of focusing on retelling the story, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements) to help the memory lose its emotional charge and be integrated more adaptively. This can lead to a significant reduction in symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression, fostering greater calm, clarity, and self-trust.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle, evidence-based approach that views the mind as a system of sub-personalities, or "parts," each with its own valuable role and perspective. Everyone has a core "Self"—a place of calm, clarity, compassion, and curiosity. In IFS, we work to build a trusting relationship between your Self and your protective or wounded parts, helping to unburden the pain they carry and restore balance and harmony within.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is a transformative, emotion-focused therapy designed to foster deep and lasting change. It works on the principle that, within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, you have an innate capacity for healing and resilience. AEDP helps you courageously engage with core emotions and traumatic experiences that may have felt too overwhelming to face alone. By processing these feelings in real time, we transform emotional pain into a source of strength, clarity, and greater connection to your authentic self.
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based approach grounded in the understanding that emotions are not obstacles, but essential guides to our deepest needs and values. This therapy helps you become more aware of, make sense of, and transform painful or stuck emotional patterns. In a safe and supportive space, we explore these emotions to understand the messages they carry, helping you move through emotional distress toward greater self-compassion, resilience, and meaningful change.
Chronic pain is more than a physical sensation—it is a deeply personal experience woven into the fabric of your nervous system, emotions, and history. This work focuses on moving from a state of disconnection or conflict with your body toward one of compassionate awareness and integration. We will gently explore the stories, emotions, and protective patterns held within the body, using somatic and trauma-informed approaches to help soothe the nervous system, reclaim a sense of safety, and cultivate a more peaceful and empowered relationship with your physical self.
